What I did this week (urrr...I mean last week).

So, a few weeks ago I thought it would be great if at the end of each week I did a blog post about what I had done during the week (ground breaking I know). Well that week I did not do a blog post at all, and then the next week I typed one out and never posted it. Now this one is posted the week after. Oh well, such is my life. So here's what I did last week.

I went to Big Bend National Park

I saw a rattlesnake while I was hiking.

I climbed a mountain.

I went to the desert and it was cold and rainy (what were the odds).

I stood on the edge of a cliff.

I saw a bear.

I skipped a rock across the Rio Grande into Mexico (but I think it was pure luck).

I had an awesome photo shoot with a road runner.

And there's my summary of last week. I will probably blog more about Big Bend later this week. It was beautiful. I got to see the desert, mountains, and Mexico all in one place. I am already planning my next trip there.

  1. Good job on the rattlesnake. I can't find it even in a picture I have all day to stare at. Of course, this is why you want me on safari with you: I'd never see the predators coming, giving you time to get away. Seriously, I can't find animals in the zoo.

Glad you had a good time & glad you're back!

  2. Looks like a great time! Don't worry about not blogging as much as you would like. Blog when you can. The Lord will use your words to encourage others...like me. I can't see the snake either. Maybe you could circle him. ;)

  3. Ok, I enlarged the pix and saw the rattler. How did you every spot him?
