What I did This Week

 

   This guy showed up in my backyard on Tuesday. Dragonflies are incredible creatures, and we certainly got to see it as my brothers and I watched this little beast eat a fly.

 

  Then on Wednesday night I was attacked in my own bed by a cockroach. So I did what any decent person would have done. I got up a killed it

  Here is my nerd prodigy. I introduced yet another brother to the wonderful world of The Hobbit, and he showed both his older brothers up by reading it faster then they did.

  And this is me a couple days after getting the wisdom teeth dug out of the back of my skull. This picture is supposed to be at the peak of my swelling. If it does not sound vain, I really do not look that bad all things considered.

 

  My Dad found this gem at a second-hand store. As a nerd I will readily read anything by J.R.R. Tolkien. While Roverandom never reached the depth or complexity of The Lord of the Rings or of The Hobbit, it was a certainly a charming little adventure story that would be greatly enjoyed by Tolkien fans and fairy-tale loving children alike. 

 

  And so went my week.
